Sketchy Thursdays 4.28 - You Make the Whole World Smile

Here is my take on it. The photo was taken on red nose day 1990, which used to be a fundraiser for SIDS (cot death). In NZ we had a song that they always had on the ads etc for red nose day, called You make the whole world smile, that's where the title comes from, I printed out the words to the song on Velum and put it on my LO.

Well today has been a beautiful day in Dunedin, I just love sitting in my craft room in the sun!
Today I got out my buttons and as I was rustling through I found a few I wanted to use for this LO.
Its called Live, Laugh, Love.... what a shame I don't know any challenges for buttons atm. Oh well... here it is anyway:

Cupcake Craft Challenges - Fluffy Bunnies

This week Cupcake Craft Challenges has a challenge all about fluff, so I thought I would give this a go.
My layout is called Beautiful Day with You, here it is:

The 'fluff' is the clouds and they are made from hobby fill.

All My Dreams

I have had this 8x10 photo for quite a while and have always wanted to do something with it but was feeling like it was too big... after some inspiration from my friend Lydia I came up with this LO called all my dreams.
I'm quite happy with it too :) What do you think?

I was so excited about this weeks fri challenge over at Frosted Designs that I just had to do something else. So I did a 2 page LO. Once again I have to apologise about the photos, I really struggled to crop these ones properly.

Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday Challenge - 22 Apr 2011

If you have seen my My Favourite Things LO then you will understand why I just love love love this weeks Fab Fri challenge over at Frosted Designs. Its all about Birds and Butterflies!!

I have had this Kaisercraft Butterfly Album for a couple of months now, knowing sort of what I wanted to use it for but not quite enough to do anything with it. When I saw this challenge I knew it would be perfect!!! I am so super happy with the end result.

So here it is, my OTP Butterfly project called Live:

I have to apologise for my poor photo taking/cropping skills, but it should give you the idea, it is actually straight and has equal sides in real life.

Friday Scrapping Fun :)

Well I went to my friend Lydia's today for our almost weekly scrap session. I had no idea what I was going to be working on today but am super happy with what I ended up with.

Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday Challenge - 19 Apr 2011

This week's fri challenge over at Frosted Designs is all about making your own embellishments. You can see the challenge here

I made heart embellishments using Kaisercraft's wooden hearts, painted them and bling-ed them up.
I don't often use purple so this is a bit of a change for me but overall I'm pretty happy with it. Its quite satisfying making your own embellishments too.
